What up, yall! I'm Abby! If I could tell you one thing for you to get to know me, it'd be that I've been a middle school teacher for 5 years! So imagine that one super awesome computer elective teacher that you had in 8th grade -- I like to think that's me :) My 7th and 8th grade students think I’m weird and crazy but fun for saying “swag” and “cool beans” pretty much every day, so there’s a reason I don’t teach high school. I think every sweet note that I've gotten from a student has included something along the lines of "I love how chill of a teacher you are" and "you explain boring things in such a fun way". They make me smile so much!!

When I'm not behind the camera or teaching kids Photoshop or how to code, I'm probably traveling with my hubs of 3 years, David, or snuggling my kitties and watching The Office for the 100th time. If I had one goal for my whole life, it would be to have Jesus glorified by the way I serve others in all aspects at every stage of life.

I say I'm from Houston, but if you know Houston, I'm from Spring. So it's Houston with this rural/urban twang about it. Imagine if 1994 Tim McGraw did a remix with Lil Wayne and that's Spring, Texas for ya! My go-to music will always be Texas Country. I'll be at every Flatland Cavalry and Turnpike Troubadours concert that I can in the front row singing every word. Barefoot, hair wet at the lake is my happy place. If the food doesn't come with ranch, I probably won't order it. Napa, California is my family's favorite vacation spot, so I got all the wine recs! 

If I was a Disney character, I’d probably be Lizzie McGuire — embracing the awkward & clumsy but surrounded by so many people that love and support me. You’ll catch me on the dance floor, camera in hand, shakin’ my tail feathers right along with y’all. If I wasn’t a photographer, “personal hype man” would be my next job. I’ll cheer you on, pump you up, and love your love to just be yourself.
